Transmute the "boring" in-between moments to Deep Peace in 2 mins
A simple framework for success
You're waiting line at the coffee shop..
20 seconds go by..
You check the clock..
Shuffle your feet..
And start to get lost in the swirling mass of thoughts penetrating your awareness..
Drawing you in and taking you on an unconscious joy ride of contraction and tension:
"What's taking so long!?"
"I've got to do "XYZ" later..bloody hell I'm so busy.."
"Why the hell are there so many people here anyway.."
You feel the familiar tug of attachment and boredom and go to pull out your Smartphone
STOP
This is THE vital inflection point
The moment where you can sink further into unconscious suffering..
Or start to train yourself to become a master of the moment
It's often these little moments that are the most vital
And will make the difference between you ending the day in a state of contraction vs in a relaxed flow
A simple framework to practice mindfulness in these moments is this:
1. Recognize your thoughts/feelings/sensations in the body in these moments
(very often you'll be starting to experience contraction and dullness - Reaching your phone is a way of avoiding dealing with these sensations but paradoxically makes them stronger)
2. Label them: "Thinking" "Feeling"
This creates space between the pure awareness and the impermanent thoughts/feelings
You could also state “I am aware of "Insert your name” thinking/feeling X
3. Notice how your awareness "untangles" itself when you apply this gentle label
You've created space..
Now let's ground you in the moment:
4. Ground your awareness in the body at the naval
5. Anchor your awareness there with your breath
6. Consciously relax/soften out of distraction/contraction/stress
7. Repeat as required
8. Once in a collected mental state - Program your mind to create conditions of abundance
This works well:
"I am whole, perfect, strong, powerful, loving, harmonious and happy"
This moves you from:
> Allowing the mind to rampage unconsciously
(Often resulting in us replaying stories and perspectives from the past that are based on trauma, fear and lack)
Vs
> Consciously programming our mind to create conditions that we desire
Now..

You don't need to imagine
Go and do this for 1 day
Give it 100% of your being
See how by engaging with your feelings and skillfully working them allows you 10x your quality of life
These simple shifts from unconscious to conscious action can be the difference between a day full of suffering..
Vs a day of tranquil joy, deep peace and presence and aligned action

WIN the day..
WIN the week
WIN your life
